Power Factors
The Power Factors report shows you the most predictive factors for the group of races you are looking at. The WIN% column shows you what percentage of the time the top ranked horse won the race using only that factor. The PLACE% column shows you what percentage of the time the top ranked horse ran at least 2nd, and the SHOW% column shows you what percentage of the time the top ranked horse ran at least 3rd. The FACTOR ACCURACY rating tells you how accurate the factor was from top to bottom. For example a factor that ranked the winner first, the 2nd place horse 2nd, the 3rd place horse 3rd, etc would be considered very accurate. Conversely, a factor that ranked the winner at the bottom and the last place finisher at the top would be less accurate. The higher the number, the more accurate the Factor is at predicting the correct order of finish. Use the FACTOR ACCURACY rankings to help you build mixes for exactas and trifectas.
